Collage Art
The “Piecing Together Life” series features collage artworks created by the students of the Craft Workshop at the Medical & Health Station, under the guidance of instructor Joyce Lian.
Using a variety of handmade materials such as scrap fabric, old photos, magazine images, and dried flowers, the students have collaged their life experiences and moments from daily life at the settlement. These artworks not only showcase each creator’s unique perspective but also carry deep emotions and memories. We have also gathered the fascinating oral histories behind each piece, aiming to resonate with the audience through the creators’ thoughts and stories. We hope their real-life stories will touch you, enter your heart, and allow you to feel the silent power and emotional connection conveyed through their art.
